Happy almost Friday, y’all! I am currently dealing with the return of one of the most annoying injuries I’ve had in my life. Not to sound like a mom, but please make sure that you take care of yourself when you work out/if you do fitness classes with an instructor. I went to a bad one over a year ago and proceeded to do INTENSE reformer pilates with leg straps + the whole show, and since I had no idea WTF I was doing/my instructor was on her phone every class + told me to “follow the other ladies” when I felt lost/like I was doing things wrong, I developed a muscular imbalance on my right side that makes my hip hike up + causes a lot of discomfort in my back/leg. FUN STUFF.
The good thing is that I’m currently in line to see a specialist who can teach me the right shit to fix this injury for once + for all.
On days like this where I start feeling sorry for myself + mad at the world, it’s important to draw myself back a bit, realize how trivial this is + put on something that makes me happy.
For me today, it’s these crazy/amazing fringe pants I scored at the Zara sale. Whoever says clothes can’t inspire healing is a bad liar–I’m feeling better already.
