How to be Minimal

Wearing Zara dress, American Eagle hat, Gap shoes and Mansur Gavriel bucket bag

It’s insane to think about how much my life has changed since my last blog post on Thursday. I’m still a little in shock, but I’m so excited to say that I have become a blogging cliche, and I’m now engaged to my photographer!

Okay, so I guess I’m not too much of a cliche because our relationship didn’t start that way (I forced him to take my photos a few years in). I’m just so excited for this chapter of my life to unfold! It’s insane how happy I am and that I get to spend the rest of my life with the person who always lifts me up and makes me feel so immensely loved/blessed. As I’m sure you’ve noticed, I like to shape my blog around whatever’s going on in my life. So you can expect some major bridal inspo coming your way in the near future.

Now, onto today’s look. I’m obsessing over all things minimal at the moment. Not only is it easier to get dressed, but I find my closet is filled with basics rather than a bunch of trendy, wear-only-once pieces, which is a GREAT thing for me. I mean, it’s important to learn that wearing one ring on every finger won’t be cool forever, right?

I’ll keep this short, but I want to provide you with a little formula that was made for weekend strolls through the city. Pull-off your own minimal weekend look using the following pieces:

little black dress (with interesting detail) + lace-up flats + classic hat + neutral bag = the solution to your weekend wardrobe woes

Until next time,
