It’s seriously so funny. To be quite honest, over the past few months I’ve developed a deep obsession for makeup and YouTube beauty bloggers. If you didn’t know me, you’d instantly think this is normal. However, I can assure you that it’s not. Unlike most females my age, I wear makeup 1-2 times a week. Now, ask me why I’ve been investing hundreds of dollars in expensive products and I won’t know what to tell you.
Although I’m lethargic when it comes to the actual process of applying makeup, there’s something I love about it! For that reason, I’ve decided to share a few products from my beauty routine that I can’t get enough of (on the days I do wear makeup of course).
From highlighting to contouring, you can say that I’m pretty much testing it all out. Here are some of my faves at the moment along with mini reviews:
Stila liquid eyeliner: Obsessed! This liner is so easy to apply, and I love how dark it is.
Elf smudge pot: Best/easiest eye shadow ever! I love the muted color of it too.
Becca Champage palette: Okay, this little palette is AMAZING. It’s $34 and you get the famous Champagne Pop highlighter along with two other shades! Win-win.
Lorac Contour Palette: TBH, I’m still learing how to use this one. But, I love how buttery/blendable all the shades are.
Lorac powder: This is my go-to when I decide to do my makeup. It’s great at mattifying the skin.
NARS concealer: I have chronic dark shadows under my eyes no matter how much sleep I get. This adds the perfect amount of light without looking too overdone.
Anastasia BH liquid lipstick in Sepia: YAAAAASSSSSS. I love this color, and the formula lasts pretty long.
Anastasia BH brow powder: My brows aren’t exactly “on fleek,” but I love using this. It’s great for noobs like myself.
NOW, onto the best of the best: my Pixi products!
Lets start with the Glow Tonic: So, I had never been a big fan of toners until I tried this. It’s pretty incredibl TBH. The hype is no lie. It makes my skin glow, and with every use I notice that my pores are clearer/smaller and my complexion is more uniform.
Pixi Glow Mist: Okay, so if you’re anything like me and you’re not a fan of cake face, this is the makeup setting spray for you. As soon as your done applying your makeup, a spritz of this miracle mist seems to blend the makeup into your skin and leaves you with a soft, but radiant looking face if I do say so myself.
